Islanders Agree to Terms on Entry Level Contract with Kabanov
by Staff Writer / New York IslandersThe New York Islanders announced today that they have agreed to terms on a three-year entry-level contract with Kirill Kabanov.

Kabanov played for Moncton during the 2009-10 season, recording 23 points (10 goals and 13 assists) in 22 games.
Internationally, Kabanov has represented Russia at the 2009 Under-18 World Junior Championships, tallying 11 points (four goals and seven assists) in seven games to help his country win a silver medal. Kabanov, selected in the third round (65th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, also played in the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament and the 5 Nations Under-18 Tournament.
