Playing two years with the US National Team Development Program, Stefan showed his grit by finishing second on his team with 93 penalty minutes in 2011-12. Matteau also served as one of his team’s best penalty killers when he wasn’t in the box. Matteau will take his two-way ability to the QMJHL next season to play for the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada. | Despite standing less than six feet tall, Dalton Thrower maintains a huge presence on the blue line both offensively and defensively. Dalton led Saskatoon defensemen in scoring (54 points), while not shying away from dropping the gloves. The scouts have been impressed with Thrower’s ability to both run a power play and contribute significantly on the defensive end, typically while playing against the opponent’s top line.
