ICEWORKS SUMMER CAMPS

by Staff Writer / New York Islanders
As the 2009-10 New York Islanders season comes to a close, Iceworks, the team’s official practice facility, is offering all youth hockey players the chance to continue their development into future Islanders.

Iceworks
has various summer ice hockey camps beginning in June. Camps include daily ice time, off-ice conditioning, valuable “chalk talk” instruction and video training all from elite instructors. The Islanders are scheduled to have one player appear at the camps once a week.

“The Iceworks Hockey Camp provides elite instruction, appealing to hockey players of all levels,” Iceworks General Manager, Howard Saffan said.  “Combine that with the experience of skating with one of the Islander players, makes Iceworks the premier ice hockey camp in the area.

Along with instruction from top coaches, campers will also receive two tickets to a regular season Islanders home game and a summer camp jersey.  Available spots are available for all ages and sizes. Campers have the ability to choose from morning, afternoon, or full day sessions.  The full day sessions include a lunch for the campers and the schedule for the summer is as follows:
