The I.C.E. Tour continues to be the busiest fan-friendly community outreach program in the area. This weekend included stops at four different events. The first event was held on Saturday, where the Islanders RV and two of the interactive inflatables were a part of the Bellmore Street Fair. Young fans really enjoyed hopping around in the moonbounce as fans of all ages enjoyed testing their skills at the slap shot booth. Sparky and the Ice Girls were also a part of the parade that kicks off the fair each year.

Sunday was an even busier day for the I.C.E. Tour, especially Sparky and the Ice Girls. The Tour began in Newbridge Park, where Sparky was on hand to be a part of Alex’s Run for A Reason, an event dedicated to the memory of Alex, a young 2 year old who had her life cut short from SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood). After helping out there, Sparky then made his way to the Bethpage Street Fair, where he was on stage with various politicians.

The I.C.E. Tour’s biggest event on Sunday was held at Wheatley Plaza in Greenvale, where the Islanders RV and all of the interactive inflatables were set up to get everyone ready for Halloween. Kids under 7 were allowed to pick a pumpkin for free, a DJ filled the air with music, a giant pumpkin carving was took place and raffle prizes were given out at the event. Sparky and the Ice Girls joined in on the fun, dancing with the kids and playing on some of the inflatables with them. All of the event’s proceeds went to the Islanders Children’s Foundation.
