The I.C.E. Tour could not be stopped by the cold and snow as it made several stops this weekend. The first stop was on Saturday morning at Cantiague Ice Rink where the I.C.E. Tour was a part of a skate for families of those who have loved ones serving in the military. The inflatable slap shot booth was on site for everyone to test their shooting skills. Also, Sparky and the Ice Girls hit the ice, skating with many of the children and their families.
After his stop at Cantiague, Sparky then headed south to Massapequa, where he was a part of the Sunrise Mall Holiday Party. Hundreds of young fans enjoyed the holiday themed festivities as Sparky made his way around the party, greeting and playing with many of the youngsters.
As the day turned to night, RexCorp was getting ready for one of Long Island’s bigger nights of the year, the lighting of the tree at Reckson Plaza. The Ice Girls and Sparky skated on ice in front of thousands of fans who gathered around the beautiful, gigantic tree that would be lit later on during the ceremony.
