The weather was fantastic on Saturday morning, and  the I.C.E. Tour headed over to Eisenhower Park to partner with the American Red Cross, as they held their annual "Crosswalk" through the park. Field 6 of the park was soon occupied with walkers, music and the Islanders interactive inflatables. From 9-11 am, people registered to walk to help raise money for the American Red Cross, an organization dedicated to helping those who are in need of help after local disasters—whether it be fires, floods, or any other type of disaster. During the registration period, Sparky, the Ice Girls and interactive inflatables were on hand for everyone to enjoy. Great Islanders prizes were given to all who stopped by. At 11 am, with all the walkers lined up, Sparky cut the ribbon to officially begin the 3K walk around the park. It was a great way to spend such a beautiful Saturday morning.
