The I.C.E. Tour was out and about again on Tuesday, making stops in Babylon and Merrick. The first stop of the day was Babylon Memorial Grade School, where the I.C.E. Tour teamed up with the school to add to the fun of their annual field day. More than 200 kids sprinted out of the cafeteria and toward the I.C.E. Tour’s interactive inflatables, prize wheel, and of course, Sparky! All the students had a blast and walked away with some great Islanders prizes and a chance to sign up for the Islanders free Kids Club.
After saying goodbye to his new friends at the school, Sparky made his way to South Merrick to be a part of the opening of a brand new park, Julian Lane Park. The park opening was great as Sparky met many young fans who were eager to ride bikes and play ball in the new park. Also on hand for the opening of the new park was Sparky’s friend and Town of Hempstead Supervisor, Kate Murray. The two took pictures together with some of the excited kids as the afternoon was filled with music in fun in a beautiful new park.
