The frigid temperatures were not enough to keep the I.C.E. Tour and some of their youngest fans indoors on Sunday afternoon as the Islanders joined forces with the Port Washington Skating Academy to create a fun filled day for the young skaters. All of the I.C.E. Tour’s interactive inflatables, as well as the RV filled the ice rink’s parking lot as the rink held a free open skate that also featured Sparky and the Ice Girls. More than 200 people showed up to partake in some skating and outdoor activities. A big Islanders sign was also present for all the children in attendance to sign and will now be hung up in the rink for everyone to admire. All fans walked away with some great Islanders giveaways and a big smile.
