Submit photos to for scoreboard display on Military Appreciation Night

In honor of Veterans Day on Monday,  the Islanders are asking fans to submit electronic pictures of their family or friends who serve or who have served in the Armed Forces. The photos will be part of Military Appreciation Night this Saturday when the Islanders face the New Jersey Devils at the Nassau Coliseum.

The Islanders want Military Appreciation Night to be as special as possible and  are looking for help from fans whose loved ones have served our country at home and abroad.

Pictures submitted may appear on the Islanders Video Board at the Nassau Coliseum during Saturday's contest against the Devils.

Tickets to Saturday's game are still available. Saturday features one of the best goaltending rivalries in the game with puckhandling geniuses Rick DiPietro and Martin Brodeur squaring off against each other.
