Freddy Meyer, who has been traveling with the I.C.E. Tour all week visiting camps across Long Island, was joined by fellow defenseman Bruno Gervais Friday as the two traveled with the I.C.E. Tour to North Shore Day Camp in Glen Cove. The camp of over 700 children were thrilled as they got a chance to get autographs from two of the Islanders. Bruno and Freddy then took the kids over to the hockey rink where Team Meyer took on Team Gervais in several games of street hockey. Sparky the Dragon was also on hand, playing in the game as well as signing autographs for the kids. All of the I.C.E. Tour’s interactive inflatables were also set up for the children to enjoy. “It was a great week traveling all over and getting to meet some of our young fans,” said Freddy. “I had a great time and I really hope to see them all again at a game soon.” For Bruno, today was his first stop with the I.C.E. Tour. “I’m excited to be back. The kids today were great. It was a blast getting to play hockey with them on such a beautiful day. I think the kids really enjoyed themselves today. I’m excited to visit all the other camps I’ll be at this week and have some fun with all of our young fans.”
