Season series (2-0-0)
The Islanders look to close out the season series with a perfect record against Montreal for the first time since 1983-84. In the first meeting between the two squads this season on Feb 21, rookie defenseman Thomas Hickey scored his first career goal to give the Isles an overtime win. The Islanders then ended Montreal’s 11-game point streak with a 6-3 win at the Coliseum on Mar. 5. The Canadiens have not lost in regulation since.

Canadiens player to watch
Max Pacioretty - Left Wing

With 23 points (nine goals, 14 assists) in 25 games, the fifth-year NHL veteran is on pace to lead the Canadiens in scoring for the second consecutive time. Although he was kept off the score sheet in the last matchup between the Isles and Habs, he scored twice in the Islanders 4-3 overtime win in late February.

•Brad Boyes has 10 points (four goals, six assists) in his last eight games.
