The Islanders went 3-1-0 against the Jets last season, and are on a three-game win streak against Sunday night's opponent. Michael Grabner scored the game-winner with 47 seconds remaining, and also netted a penalty shot goal. Kyle Okposo added a pair of goals as well in the Islanders final home game of 2011-12.

Dustin Byfuglien - Defenseman
Byfuglien's 53 points (12 goals, 41 assists) trailed only Norris Trophy winner Erik Karlsson among defenseman scoring in 2011-12. The 6'5, 265-pound blueliner co-leads the team with five points (two goals, three assists) through four games. Byfuglien has averaged more than 26 minutes of ice time while playing in all situations.

•Sunday's game marks the third contest of a five-game road trip. The Islanders are 1-1-0 so far on the trip, and have stops in Pittsburgh and New Jersey before returning to the Coliseum.
•LW Matt Moulson has appeared in 250 consecutive games since joining the Islanders in 2009.
•The Islanders are one of two teams (Boston) yet to allow a power play goal, killing off all 13 man disadvantages.
•C Keith Aucoin is 30-for-43 (69.8%)  in the faceoff circle in his first four games as an Islander, and posted his first career two-goal game Friday at Boston.
