One week after defeating the New Jersey Devils at Barclays Center, the Islanders rematch their Metropolitan Division rivals at Prudential Center in Newark tonight at 7 p.m.

Brock Nelson scored the game-deciding goal in the third round of the shootout propelling the Islanders (4-1-0) to a 3-2 win over the Devils (2-1-1) last week in Brooklyn.

Both teams have played once since last week’s meeting. The Islanders are coming off a 5-3 win over a veteran Boston Bruins squad on Tuesday, while the Devils enter tonight’s contest on the heels of a 3-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday.

Jaroslav Halak will start in goal for the Islanders tonight, staring down Devils goalie Cory Schneider at the opposite end. Neither Halak nor Schneider played in the team’s first meeting in Brooklyn.

Again, Head Coach Jack Capuano has shaken up his roster from the previous game, substituting 10 players (six forwards, three defensemen, one goalie). Notable additions include: Travis Hamonic, Mikhail Grabovski and Halak.

The Devils are icing a veteran lineup that includes: Jaromir Jagr, Mike Cammalleri, Travis Zajac, Michael Ryder and Schneider.
