Islanders' defenseman Chris Campoli traveled across Long Island Thursday for his fourth day of community events. Chris started the day attending an Islanders Business Club luncheon at Butera's Restaurant in Smithtown. During the event, everyone in attendance was given a presentation explaining what the IBC is and why it is important to grow this unique networking program. Chris was on-site speaking with the business executives in attendance about his experiences playing on Long Island, and how much he enjoys the area.
Following the luncheon Chris made his way back into Nassau County for an autograph signing at the team store located in the Broadway Mall. More than 150 fans welcomed Chris as he approached the entrance to the team store. During the signing, he took the time to sign autographs and take pictures with everyone in attendance. "Today I was traveling all over Long Island,” Campoli said. “Anytime you have a chance to meet your fans either on a corporate level or at an autograph signing it are special. I look forward to seeing everyone I met today at future Islanders games and Islanders Business Club events."
