Rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 4 after Islanders-Thrashers

Due to the inclement weather expected tonight, the Islanders have postponed the Grucci Fireworks show, which was originally scheduled at the conclusion of tonight's game. Fireworks Night has been rescheduled for next Saturday night, November 4 when the Islanders host the Atlanta Thrashers.

"Together with the Islanders we have decided to postpone the fireworks due to the anticipated high winds and inclement weather which could pose unsafe conditions," said Phil Grucci, Executive Vice President of Fireworks by Grucci. "As such we are rescheduling the Islanders fireworks to next Saturday. We look forward to clear November skies and an incredible Grucci performance!"
