Finland II defeated Finland I in the Lighthouse International Tournament championship game Saturday at Nassau Coliseum, concluding the week-long, eight-team tournament.

Tuomo Kerki gave Finland II an early 1-0 lead, just three minutes into the game. Finland I then scored four unanswered goals to take a 4-1 advantage midway through the second period.

Down three goals, Finland II stormed back with four unanswered goals, capped off by Kerki’s game-winner with 3:02 remaining in the third period. The final tally also completed the hat trick or Kerki.

After the game, members of all competing teams participated in a skills competition.
