The inclement weather on Wednesday morning was not enough to wash out the I.C.E. Tour and Joey MacDonald, as the team jumped in the Islanders RV and headed east to be a part of the annual Suffolk County PBA Picnic at South Haven County Park. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., all of the interactive inflatables were set up for the children attending the party to enjoy. Along with the moonbounce, obstacle course, and slap shot booth that the Islanders provided, the children also had the opportunity to climb two different rock walls. Joey signed autographs for more than 150 fans who made their way over to the Islanders RV. “It’s great to be at an event like this to support the police officers who go above and beyond to protect us everyday,” MacDonald said. “Everyone here is having a lot of fun so it’s nice to be a part of their day.”
