DUNHAM GETS THE START VS. SENS

by Staff Writer / New York Islanders
DiPietro remains sidelined day-today

Islanders head coach Ted Nolan announced to the media after today's morning skate that Mike Dunham will be the starter for tonight's game in Ottawa.

The Islanders are being cautious with No. 1 goaltender Rick DiPietro, who is still recovering from injuries suffered in a first period collision during the game on Tuesday in Montreal. DiPietro continues to be listed as out day-to-day. Wade Dubielewicz will back up Dunham tonight.

There was also talk at today's morning skate that captain Alexei Yashin could be reunited with all-star wing Jason Blake on a line with Ryan Smyth. Nolan would not confirm or deny.
