The Islanders ICE Tour made a stop at the Babylon Town Hall Park and Pond in Lindenhurst this morning to be a part of the 9th Annual Duck Race and Craft Fair. The event was presented by the Deborah Hospital Foundation and all proceeds went directly to the foundation. The Deborah Hospital Foundation raises money for the Deborah Hosptial which exists to treat patients solely on medical need for free and to ease the financial burdens on families by never sending them a bill for the care they receive. The event had over 300 vendors attend and was filled with music, entertainment, pony rides, and of course the New York Islanders. The main attraction of the event was the duck race, which is enjoyed by people of all ages. The Family Fan Fest was set up as children were able to hop around in the Islanders’ moonbounce and receive some great giveaways, as well as have the opportunity to meet Sparky and the Ice Girls.
