Decision Making 101 With Steve Webb

by Staff Writer / New York Islanders

Fresh off a 9 hour drive from Canada, Steve Webb met his friends Kristy the Ice Girl and Sparky at Carle Place Middle School on Monday morning to talk to the 7th and 8th graders about the importance of teamwork and decision making as a part of the “We’re All Islanders” school assembly program.  Steve spoke to the soon to be high school students about the importance of working with one another and making smart decisions, not only during a game, but also in life.  With the pressures that are about to be pushed upon these kids in high school, Steve reiterated the importance of surrounding yourself with good “teammates” who can support you and help you as you get older.  The assembly was very powerful and Steve left the kids with a great message to take with them as they get older.
