Center Jeremy Colliton
was recalled from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on an emergency basis and joined the Islanders for practice at Iceworks this morning.
“This is an opportunity for me and I have to make the most of it,” said the 23-year old Colliton.

In 47 games with the Sound Tigers this season, Colliton has matched up against the opponents' top lines and has seen significant penalty killing time. He has six goals and three assists and is second on the Sound Tigers with two shorthanded goals.
Colliton played 19 games for the Islanders in the 2005-06 season and one game the following year. He has recorded one goal and one assist in the NHL.
The native of Blackie, Alberta was originally drafted by the Islanders in the second round of the 2003 NHL Draft. In 158 career games over three seasons with the Sound Tigers, Colliton is 37-47-84.
