Cockerill Wins Hockey East Championship

Logan Cockerill and the Boston University Terriers won the Hockey East title on Saturday night, beating the Providence Friars - and Isles prospect Ben Mirageas - 2-0.
Cockerill was held off the scoresheet in the win, but the Isles' 2017 7th-round pick finished his freshman season with 19 points (7G, 12A), including a 10-game point streak, which was the longest in the Hockey East this year.
With the win, BU qualified for the NCAA Division 1 Men's Hockey Tournament. They'll kick off the tournament on Saturday at 1 p.m. against Cornell.
