The Islanders I.C.E. Tour headed to Locust Valley on Friday to visit fans at the Friends Academy Summer Camp. The caravan of Islanders vehicles pulled into the beautiful campus and set up all of the interactive inflatables for campers ranging from 3-years-old to 15-years-old to enjoy. At 11 a.m., the Islanders RV pulled into the campus and set up right alongside the inflatables. Emerging from the RV was I.C.E. Tour special guest, Chris Campoli, who signed autographs for more than 250 children. “What a beautiful school,” noted Chris as he signed some autographs. “This is a great camp and the children couldn’t be better. They were very knowledgeable of the team and had some great questions. It was great spending some time with them,” he added. In an effort to continue to put a “Goal in every driveway,” the Islanders left behind 250 sticks for all the campers as well as a few goals and street hockey balls to help continue to grow hockey across Long Island.
