After leaving the warm ovation of Park Avenue Elementary School in Amityville, Eric Cairns and Steve Webb, along with their pals Monica the Ice Girl and Sparky, made their way to yet another school for yet another stop on their We’re All Islanders school assembly program tour.  The children of John F. Kennedy Intermediary School were treated to a great time as they got to be a part of a fun filled assembly right before lunch.  Steve, Eric, Monica, and Sparky all were on hand to talk about how working on a team involves not only the players on the ice, but the help Ice Girls, mascots, employees, and fans of the Islanders to bring home a Stanley Cup championship.  After taking some questions and bringing some students up onto stage to be a part of a few teamwork themed challenges, students were able to get a few autographs and received a great Islanders gift bag.
