After a day of practice, Islanders defenseman Bruno Gervais took a drive out to Stony Brook University Hospital to visit with patients in the Child Life Department. Bruno arrived to the 11th floor of the hospital to see that the patients took the time to draw him a welcome sign. Bruno went bedside to bedside at the pediatric wing. Bruno visited with each patient and took the time to sign autographs, give out Islanders hats and take pictures.
"Today we had a great visit at the hospital. I was happy I was able to come down and visit with some of the kids and make them a little happier on a day when they aren’t feeling too great. I wish everyone I visited a speedy recovery", said Gervais.
