Absentee ballot rules and regulations

If you are unable to get to the polls on August 1st to VOTE YES for a new sports and entertainment complex, you can still vote by absentee ballot.

Learn more about the August 1 vote. You may request an absentee ballot from the Nassau County Board of Elections by completing this form and returning it by mail or in person to the office of the Board of Elections. The address is:

If you are returning the form in person, you must do so by July 29th by 4:45 p.m. You can also call the Board of Elections with any questions at (516) 571-VOTE (8683) or (516) 571-2411.

Please note these important dates:

July 30th
is the last day that a completed absentee ballot can be postmarked by, so be sure to vote and submit you ballot as soon as possible.

August 1st is the last day that a completed absentee ballot can be dropped off at the Board of Elections. This is in the event that someone is ill and unable to make it to the poll.
