Islanders (23-19-6) at Carolina (24-23-4) - Tuesday at 7:05 pm, TV: FSN NY 2, Radio: Bloomberg 1130

The Islanders have an immediate chance to forget about Monday's blown two-goal lead when they play the Hurricanes in Carolina on Tuesday night.

One question likely facing Islanders head coach Ted Nolan is this:

Who will start in the Islanders' goal?

This certainly has nothing to do with the All-Star play of No. 1 netminder Rick DiPietro, who continues to give his team a chance to win night after night. However, backup Wade Dubielewicz is always a consideration when the Islanders play back-to-back games. Also consider Dubielewicz's stellar play when the Islanders won in Carolina on New Year's Eve.

Dubielewicz just returned from a two-game stint in Bridgeport, where he worked off the rust and was outstanding for the Sound Tigers.

The situation bears watching, as does the entire game on Tuesday night. Enjoy.
