The game, the event, the TV broadcast: what did you think?
Our new interactive feature continues as we ask fans everywhere in Islanders Country to send us their best essays. The challenge is to come up with your best answer, as the title says, in 50 words or less.
What did you think of the Islanders' 5-1 win over the Rangers on Tuesday?
We're keeping the question vague on purpose. You can address the game itself, the new rules, the performance of the new vets or the prospects. You can discuss what it was like to be at the Coliseum for the first time in too long a time, or what you thought of the music, the food, the surprise Eric Godard autograph booth outside. And if you weren't there, tell us about watching the game on TV, how nice it was to hear from Joe Micheletti again. Anything you want.
Just do it in 50 WORDS OR LESS and send it here.
Your deadline is Tuesday, September 27 at 10:00 am. The ten best entries will be published on newyorkislanders.com and the winning writers will receive an Islanders media guide.
To be eligible to win the prize, please include your full name, address, daytime telephone number, email address and anything else you want to tell us.
