There will be no Rookie Islanders classes or House League games/practices from February 15-17

All participants MUST register with USA Hockey and hand in a copy of the confirmation

Full hockey equipment is REQUIRED for all hockey programs below:

Rookie Islanders - Ages 5-9

Pre-Requisite: Pre-Hockey 1&2 or Basic Skills 1-4 (in hockey skates)
Offered: Saturdays at 8:30am (1/5-3/30) or Sundays at 10:00am (1/6-3/31)
Cost: $299 for 12 weeks

Rookie Islanders is a fun and exciting introductory hockey class. Our Rookie Islanders is specifically designed to impart basic hockey and puck handling skills. Throughout the session, skaters will be taught proper body position, how to push and glide on skates, how to "snowplow" stop and so much more. NEW registrants will receive an Iceworks hockey jersey.

House League - Ages 6-12

Pre-Requisite: One session of Rookie Islanders or equivalent, or coach's recommendation
Offered: Practices either Fridays at 5:00pm (1/11-3/22) or Saturdays at 9:30am (1/12-3/23), games will take place on Sundays at 12:15pm (1/13-3/24)
Cost: $350 for 10 weeks (10 games/10 practices) & jersey

The Islanders Iceworks House League is the perfect environment for skaters to reinforce their developing hockey skills and learn the fundamentals of teamwork, sportsmanship and game play. Players gain experience with offsides, icing, changing on the fly as well as forechecking and backchecking. The 10 week session includes 1 practice and 1 game per week.

Adult Hockey Development - Ages 18+

Pre-Requisite: Must have some basic recreational skating experience
Offered: Tuesdays at 10:00pm (1/8-4/2)
Cost: $390 for all 13 weeks or $35 walk-on

Adult Hockey Development is a learn to play hockey program for adults 18 and over. Players are exposed to skills like stride development, hockey stops, turns, crossovers, inside and outside edges. Skaters also learn how to control the puck, make and receive passes and are introduced to shooting mechanics and gameplay.
