Spurgeon re-signs with Wild
The Minnesota Wild re-signed defenseman Jared Spurgeon to a three-year deal, according to the team.

The Minnesota Wild re-signed defenseman Jared Spurgeon to a three-year deal, according to the team.

Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune is reporting that the deal is worth $2.66 million per season. Spurgeon, a restricted free agent, has played three seasons in Minnesota.

He had five goals and 15 points in 39 games in 2012-13 and has produced 2 goals and 50 points in 162 career games in Minnesota.
