BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Ryan Spooner and Matt Puempel scored in a shootout as the Peterborough Petes beat the Belleville Bulls 4-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Wednesday.
Jason Missiaen made 38 saves for the Petes and stopped both Belleville shooters in the shootout. Pat Daley had a goal and an assist, while David Quesnele and Mike Lomas also scored in regulation for Peterborough (10-9-0).
Kyle DeCoste, Adam Payerl and Luke Judson scored for Belleville (6-11-2). Marc Cantin and Matthew Tipoff added two assists each.
Philipp Grubauer stopped 36 shots in regulation and overtime for the Bulls.
