Hurricanes mascot Stormy will accompany Cup at Grasshoppers game on July 5

RALEIGH, NC –
Howard Sadel, Director of Marketing and Creative Services for the Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes, announced today that the Stanley Cup will make its first appearance in Greensboro since the Hurricanes won the storied trophy when it is on display from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Greensboro Grasshoppers game at First Horizon Park on Wednesday, July 5.

Hurricanes mascot Stormy will accompany the Stanley Cup to the appearance. Greensboro, the Class A affiliate of the Florida Marlins, plays in the South Atlantic League and hosts the Greenville Drive on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. First Horizon Park is located at 408 Bellemeade Street in Greensboro. From I-85 South, I-40 West, Burlington
  • Take I-40 West to Greensboro
  • Take Exit 218-B, Freeman Mill Road
  • Freeman Mill Road will turn into Edgeworth Street
