Sixth Annual 24-Hour Bike Challenge Set for Aug. 19-20

The event will also include special guest appearances and opportunities to win raffle prizes. Hurricanes alumni and members of the team’s staff will be biking on the Cyclin’ Canes team, joining other local businesses and groups to raise money for the Foundation.
Through fundraisers like the Raleigh Orthopaedic 24-Hour Bike Challenge, the Kids ‘N Community Foundation donated $575,000 in cash grants to 27 different children’s charities and foundations in North Carolina during the 2015-16 season. In addition to the Foundation, the Hurricanes annually contribute to the community in numerous ways, bringing the team’s annual charitable giving to more than $1 million in cash and in-kind services. Every member of the Hurricanes organization is actively involved in community activities, and the Hurricanes take pride in giving back to the community.
