RALEIGH, NC—Bill Nowicki, Director of Ticket Operations for the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, announced today that individual game tickets for Hurricanes’ home games in October and November will be on sale to the general public on Monday, Sept. 14. Tickets will be available at the Time Warner Cable Box Office at the RBC Center, CarolinaHurricanes.com and all Ticketmaster outlets beginning at 10 a.m.
Nowicki also announced that the team is introducing “Advance Pricing” for the 2009-10 season, and extending the availability of the team’s most popular season-long ticket promotions. All tickets purchased at least seven days prior to the date of a game will be available at 2008-09 prices. In addition, ticket specials that were only available on the day of a game in past seasons, including the “99.9 The Fan” $9.99 tickets, will be now be available as soon as tickets go on sale for a given game date. Please see this fact sheet or visit the Special Ticket Offers section of CarolinaHurricanes.com for more details on the team’s season-long ticket promotions.
Within seven days of any game, Advance Pricing and any associated ticket offers will no longer be available. For example, fans who wish to purchase tickets to a Saturday night game must do so by the previous Saturday to take advantage of Advance Pricing. Tickets purchased the Sunday prior would be sold at Game-Week Pricing.
The Hurricanes’ October and November home schedule includes Opening Night at the RBC Center on Oct. 2 against the Philadelphia Flyers, and visits from Western Conference foes St. Louis, San Jose, Los Angeles and Minnesota.
Tickets for Carolina’s home games after November will go on sale on the following dates: Nov. 2 for December games, Dec. 1 for January games, Jan. 2 for February games and Feb. 1 for games in March and April. Individual-game tickets for Hurricanes games can be purchased at the Time Warner Cable Box Office at the RBC Center, all TicketMaster locations, or via www.CarolinaHurricanes.com.
