Alexander Semin has suffered a concussion and will miss the final two games of the regular season, head coach Kirk Muller said Thursday morning.

Semin did not practice with the team on Wednesday, at first believed to be a maintenance day for the 29-year-old forward. Tim Wallace was recalled from Charlotte on Wednesday afternoon and will likely remain with the team through Saturday's finale in Pittsburgh.

Semin skated in 44 games with the Canes this season, recording 13 goals and 31 assists (44 points). He ranks second on the team in assists, points and plus/minus (plus-14).
