As in years past, Hurricanes players, coaches, broadcasters and front-office management will join each participating foursome. Each registered golfer will receive a gift bag valued at $250, on-course food and beverage and a tax receipt for participation. Following the tournament, participants can enjoy a reception where prizes will be awarded to the tournament’s top teams and individual hole-contest winners.
This marks the third consecutive year that Volvo Construction Equipment will sponsor the tournament, which is one of the Kids ‘N Community Foundation’s biggest fundraisers. The 2010 tournament raised $89,000 for the Foundation, which awarded $574,771 to 71 different children’s charities and foundations in 2010-11.
