Canes come to Vancouver having won three in a row

VANCOUVER - The Carolina Hurricanes are riding a three-game winning streak as they take on the Vancouver Canucks in the second game of a five-game road trip.

After missing four games with a lower-body injury, Martin Necas returned to the Canes' lineup in Edmonton.

"I thought he had a lot of jump," head coach Rod Brind'Amour said. "You could see he had a little pep to his step, maybe a little more than normal. He was around the puck."
