Martinook doubtful to play with upper-body injury

GLENDALE, Ariz. - The Carolina Hurricanes are set to face the Arizona Coyotes in the second game of a four-game road trip.

Jordan Martinook left Tuesday's game with an upper-body injury and did not practice on Wednesday. Head coach Rod Brind'Amour said Martinook was "doubtful" to play on Thursday. Nino Niederreiter left Wednesday's practice early, and while Brind'Amour didn't have a full update to provide, he said he suspected Niederreiter would play.
