CAROLINA NOTES The Carolina Hurricanes fell 3-0 to the Montreal Canadiens in their first game at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in 16 days….After trailing 1-0, Hurricanes forward Martin Gelinas appeared to have tied the score 1-1 at 9:28 of the third period…The goal was disallowed, however, by referee Kerry Fraser who ruled that Gelinas “batted” the puck with his glove off of Theodore and into the net.
