CAROLINA NOTES: Carolina Hurricanes forward Martin Gelinas has enjoyed considerable success thus far this season…Gelinas has totaled four points (1g, 3a) in the first four games of the season…He notched his first goal of the season against the Nashville Predators on Oct. 14…Last season, Gelinas did not reach the four point mark until Nov. 22, the 21st game of the season…Gelinas, who scored 35 goals for the Vancouver Canucks during the 1996-97 season, totaled 30 points (14g, 16a) last season in 81 games…
