Tonight marks the first of four meetings between the Eastern Conferenceteams. Last season, the Hurricanes took three of four games from theIslanders, including both games on Long Island. Forward Jeff O'Neill carries a four-game (12/9-12/16: 4g, 2a) goals andpoints streak into the game. It tied a season low of 18 shots on goal at Boston...The Hurricanes recalled rookie defenseman Niclas Wallin Monday fromCincinnati of the International Hockey League.
