BOX OFFICE IS ACCEPTING ORDERS RIGHT NOW
RALEIGH, NC (April 27, 2002) – Jim Cain, President and Chief Operating Officer for the National Hockey League Carolina Hurricanes, announced today that individual game tickets for the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs are on sale now. Tickets are available at the arena box office and all Ticketmaster locations. The Hurricanes defeated the New Jersey Devils 1-0 in Game 6 to clinch the Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series 4-2 and advance to the Conference Semifinals against an opponent to be determined.
Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster locations: (919) 834-4000 in Raleigh/Durham, (336) 852-1100 in the Triad and (910) 223-2900 in Fayetteville. Tickets can be ordered on-line by visiting the Carolina Hurricanes’ official website at www.CarolinaHurricanes.com and can also be purchased at the ESA box office. The box office will be open until 6 p.m. Saturday night, and has extended hours of 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday and 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Friday. Ticket prices for the second round range from $25-$140.
Tickets for Round 1, Game D on April 29 are now null and void and may not be used for entrance to any second round games. Refunds for the first-round Game 7 tickets are available through the point-of-purchase. Fans who purchased tickets at the Arena box office must return those tickets to the arena box office for a full refund. Tickets purchased through the Hurricanes sales staff will be automatically flagged for refund via the original method of payment. Tickets purchased at a Ticketmaster outlet (Kroger, Hechts, etc) must be returned to the original point-of-purchase for a refund. Online and charge-by-phone Ticketmaster purchases are automatically flagged and refunded to the customer’s credit card.
