The Carolina Hurricanes will be featured on NBCSN three times in the 2014-15 regular season, as the NHL released its national broadcast schedule this morning.
All three nationally-televised games will be in Raleigh, as the Canes host Buffalo on Tuesday, Oct. 14, Tampa Bay on Tuesday, Jan. 27 and Philadelphia on Tuesday, Feb. 24. The first two games were originally slated for a 7 p.m. start time, but have been moved to 7:30 p.m. to accommodate the television schedule. The Feb. 24 game remains a 7 p.m. puck drop.
The 79 remaining games will be televised by FOX Sports, a majority of which will be carried by FOX Sports Carolinas with sister station SportSouth picking up the balance. A full breakdown of the local television schedule will be released in the near future.
In Canada, the Canes will receive Hockey Night in Canada billing thrice: Saturday, Nov. 29 vs. Pittsburgh, Saturday, Jan. 17 at Ottawa and Saturday, Jan. 31 at the New York Rangers.
