Hurricanes To Put Playoff Tickets on Sale This Saturday

RALEIGH, NC (March 28, 2000) – Jim Cain, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Carolina Hurricanes, announced today the Hurricanes will put tickets for the 2000 Stanley Cup Playoffs on sale this Saturday, April 1, 2000, at 10:00 a.m. at the Entertainment and Sports Arena and at all Ticketmaster locations.

“This is an exciting time of year for our franchise,” stated Cain. “We are in the midst of one of the most dramatic playoff races in recent NHL history as four teams are vying for the final two playoff positions in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, we will also be introducing our new season ticket price structure in the playoffs. Fans will have the opportunity to take advantage of our new lower prices that are be offered for the 2000-01 season starting with the first two rounds of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. We have just six games left to secure our position and are looking forward to playoff hockey in Raleigh this season. ”

Playoff tickets may be purchased at the Entertainment and Sports Arena box office or by visiting any Ticketmaster outlet, including Hecht’s, Kroger, Schoolkids Records, and Drug Emporium, or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets are also available through Ticketmaster phone charge.
