– Jon Chase, Director of Community Relations and Promotions for the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team will hold its annual Toy Drive from Dec. 1-15. Fans donating at least one unwrapped toy to the Toy Drive, will receive a buy-one-get-one-free (BOGO) ticket voucher to the Hurricanes’ home game on Dec. 15 against the Vancouver Canucks.
To help with the toy drive, Hurricanes forward Chad LaRose
will be at The Eye store at Crabtree on Sunday, Dec. 4, from 12-1 p.m., to collect toys and sign autographs. Donations will benefit Wake County Human Services, Toys for Tots, InterAct of Wake County and the Helping Hand Mission.
Fans can donate new, unwrapped toys, and receive their BOGO vouchers until game time on Dec. 15. The Hurricanes will be collecting toys at the RBC Center, The Eye store at Crabtree Valley Mall and Belk locations at Southpoint, Triangle Towne Center, Cary Towne Center and Crabtree Valley Mall. Collection bins will be located at the VIP Entrance of the RBC Center during normal operating hours from Dec.1-15.
