RALEIGH, NC—The Carolina Hurricanes will hold a press conference on Thursday, March 22 at 6 p.m. in the RBC Center’s media workroom to announce the launch of a new initiative: Canes Youth & Amateur Hockey (CYAH). The team will also be formally announcing a new partnership between CYAH and the Raleigh Youth Hockey Association (RYHA).
Former Hurricanes captain and current Director of Player Development Ron Francis will represent the team along with Youth and Amateur Hockey Coordinator Paul Strand. The RYHA will be represented by Jeff Maness and John Biedermann. The RBC Center’s media workroom is located on the arena level, and the press conference is open to all media.
