Hurricanes Return Helvig to Junior Club

Training camp roster now at 53 players

RALEIGH, NC - Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has returned goaltender Jeremy Helvig to his junior club, the Kingston Frontenacs (OHL), whose season begins later this week.

The Hurricanes training camp roster is now at 53 players. Carolina continues its 2017-18 preseason schedule on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning at PNC Arena.
