– The Carolina Hurricanes have created a special section of their official website
, CarolinaHurricanes.com, completely devoted to the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, which will be held June 26-27 at the RBC Center. The special draft section is the official source for all information pertaining to the draft in Raleigh. Beginning today, fans will also be able to print free tickets to the Entry Draft directly from the site.
CarolinaHurricanes.com’s special draft section includes a schedule of events for the week of the Entry Draft and the Caniac Carnival presented by Progress Energy to be held on Saturday, June 26, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. In addition to ticket information, it includes resources devoted to visitor information, prospect rankings and draft history. It also features a continuing series of profiles of the top prospects for this summer’s draft, a Q&A with NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, special feature articles to help fans stay informed as the draft approaches and a forum where fans can pose questions to Hurricanes President and General Manager Jim Rutherford.
Along with the website, tickets for the draft are available at the Dodge Box Office at the RBC Center or any retail location of The Eye team store. After June 1, fans may also pick up tickets at any North Carolina RBC Centura banking center or Triangle-area Harris Teeter store. Tickets also will be available the day of the event at the RBC Center. Tickets and parking to the Caniac Carnival and the Entry Draft are free.
