Fans donating winter coats, hats and other items receive buy-one-get-one-free ticket voucher


RALEIGH, NC—Chris Diamond, Manager of Community Relations for the Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has joined forces with Goodwill Industries to collect winter clothing for Goodwill’s 2006 Holiday Clothing Drive. Fans donating winter coats, hats, scarves and mittens will receive a buy-one-get-one-free ticket voucher good for the Hurricanes’ Nov. 28 game against the Ottawa Senators at the RBC Center.

Goodwill volunteers will be on hand at the RBC Center on Nov. 27 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Nov. 28 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. to collect clothing. Fans who choose to take advantage of the buy-one-get-one-free ticket vouchers must redeem them at the RBC Center box office. Vouchers cannot be used for tickets in the RBC Center’s Champions Club or Club Ledge areas, or for Y102.9 $10.29 tickets.

The Carolina Hurricanes play the final game of their four-game home stand tonight against the New York Rangers (7 p.m., FSN South, Hurricanes Radio Network).
