Hurricanes Assign Two More to Albany

by Terrell Williams / Carolina Hurricanes

Updated Roster

—Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has assigned goaltenders Justin Peters and Daniel Manzato to the Hurricanes’ top minor-league affiliate, the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League.

The Hurricanes training camp roster now stands at 30 players heading into tonight’s exhibition game against the Nashville Predators at Sommet Center in Nashville (8 p.m. ET, Hurricanes Radio Network). Carolina concludes its exhibition schedule on Sunday, when the Hurricanes host the Predators in a 3 p.m. match-up at the RBC Center. Please also be advised that the team’s practice on Saturday, Oct. 4, has been moved to 9 a.m. at the RBC Center to avoid a traffic conflict with the 12 p.m. N.C. State football game at Carter-Finley Stadium.
